Profile Cutting
Profile Cutting
Profile cutting is the term used for cutting substrates to a shape. They can be dimensional objects such as logo elements or hanging retail props cut out of thin card. Our digital cutting table opens the door for more creativity beyond the printed substrate. Products like life size cut-outs are handled easily by a digital cutter. Panels with straight edges are cut perfectly every time. Our advanced software saves time and money. Instantly, we can multi up large quantities of objects on a page to maximise yield from a sheet. Bleeds can be automatically added where the file has none and consistency can be guaranteed across a job run.
Dimensional
Objects such as logos elements are milled from thick materials. When they are fixed in place, light reflections and shadows enhance them. These can be produced from metals, plastics, polystyrene and timbers.
Digital Cutting
This is a process of cutting materials to predefined shapes. We do this on a wide variety of materials and the majority of our work is machine cut. By using our digital cutting table we produce accurate and consistent results across an entire order. Whether your job is square sided or a complex shape, our table will impress.
Packaging
Short to medium runs of packaging can be produced in combination with our UV Curable or Latex ink flatbed printers. Packaging templates are cut, creased and v-notched from materials such as card, Dispa and corflute ready for assembly. Printing packaging graphics with our Latex ink helps improve resistance to cracking on the corners due to its excellent elasticity.
Fabrication
Fabricated dimensional items such as boxes and display units. Products like Xanita board and corflute can be V-notched, cut and creased. They are ideal for building props, tables, chairs or merchandising units. These and other lighter materials can be fabricated using cutting and notching tools into amazing presentation items and display materials.
